We have just added the SoGlos.com ‘What’s on in Gloucestershire’ widget to this website. The guide can be found when you hover over the ‘Local Interest’ tab in the menu above. We still have our own comprehensive list of events and attractions local to Cooks Green Holiday Cottage when you click on ‘Local Interest’, but now a click on the ‘What’s On Calendar’ underneath will take you to the widget displaying events currently occurring in Gloucestershire.
This addition will benefit our guests while they’re here in our self-catering accommodation as they will be able to take advantage of the free Wi-Fi in the cottage to view what’s on that very day and then choose what event they may like to visit.
Although the widget displays a ‘what’s on’ guide for the coming week, you can also enter your own dates to view events at any time of year – perfect if you’re planning a trip to our holiday cottage in the coming weeks or months.
Speaking of events, I’ll also just mention that we have this week signed up with Eventful Stays. They are a relatively new company that specialise in accommodation for events. With plenty of top events in our region we hope this will attract more happy visitors to our beautiful self catering cottage retreat, Cooks Green Cottage.
